Profile

Karen is the National Manager of Regulatory Service at the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). In this role, Karen leads the technical teams that conduct the operational assessments for the entry, variation or renewal of industry certificates and authorisations. The teams are comprised of continuing airworthiness, flying operations and Safety Systems inspectors.

Karen has a background in flying operations, having flown both domestically and overseas. Previous roles in CASA have included Certificate Team Manager and Flying Operations Technical Advisor. Karen has a Master of Science and Technology (Aviation) attained from UNSW.
