Alana is an experienced leader with a demonstrated history of working within property, transport and aviation, focusing on management, sales and marketing.
Skilled in leadership, commercial growth and operations, along with strategy and process improvement, as the Chief Executive Officer for Skytek, she continues to lead the successful transformation of a privately owned Australian company which provides specialist aviation support for rotary and fixed wing airframes, for customers across Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
With a focus purely for maintenance within the aviation sector Alana has the ability to lead an expanding team whilst engaging with a growing customer base, along with delivering financial outcomes, with critical projects.
With a strong financial background, Alana volunteers as a Director on the Board for Women in Aviation, Australian Chapter, holding the seat of Treasurer. As a strong advocate for promoting the industry to not only women but also young men to ensure growth in engineering she works closely with Aviation Australia and Women in Aviation to encourage the next generation of engineers.
Prior to Skytek Alana held the role of Group General Manager for Pacific Turbine Group, an ASX listed company based in Brisbane, now a PAG Company. Throughout the 6 years with PTB Alana was able to facilitate increased revenue and growth for the company, with increased production through the workshop along with installation of a new facility for testing installed at a value of 4.5m.
